UNESCO, in cooperation with the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, organized a children’s drawing contest "Strong UN. Better world", dedicated to the 70th anniversaries of the UN and UNESCO.
The main objective of the contest was to introduce Kazakh children with the ideals and principles of the United Nations in the maintenance of peace and security in the world, cooperation in the enforcement of human rights and promotion of cultural diversity.Children between age of 12 and 17 out of 14 regions of Kazakhstan, as well as the cities of Almaty and Astana had been invited to participate in the contest. place in Almaty in the ‘Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation’ on 27 October 2015.
The event was supported by the Almaty City Administration and the “Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation”.
