Eighty high ranking representatives of Ministries of Education, school and university teachers, representatives of educational NGOs from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will meet in Almaty , November 10-12 2004. Following issues will be discussed:
- to present best teaching- learning experiences in ESD;
- integration of ESD in school subjects, optinal courses, curricula and extra- curricula activities, education planning and development;
- establish ESD network (ESD)for leading the UN Decade of ESD, improving quality of education for sustainable development.
