UNESCO Bangkok and UNESCO Almaty Offices jointly with Educational Centre BILIM in Almaty organized a sub-regional training workshop on the EFA Mid Decade Assessment (MDA) in Almaty from 5-9 February, 2007
The main goal of the workshop was to facilitate the preparation of the National EFA MDA report, through training in:
- collecting and analyzing statistical information;
- conceiving the content of the national report;
- organizing the inputs to and implementing the EFA MDA report;
Country delegations consisting of a National EFA Coordinator, an education statistician and a coordinator-analyst from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia participated in the workshop.
